This years program will take place in Wildwood eco forest.
The red cedar tree was dead at the top. It was between two healthy smaller red cedars. When we measured the tree it was over 55 feet. Of usable canoe making material. One 27 foot double racing canoe. And a 21 foot racing canoe.
Photo below is at Wildwood where the carving will take place. There’s a fire pit and circle area for storytelling and gathering.
